Archaeology Field School Description

The 3D Archaeological Recording and Visualisation Project will introduce participants to a broad range of 3D recording, mapping and visualization methods. They will be given hands-on instruction in these methods in the context of the major ancient Greek archaeological site of Eleusis. Eleusis is world famous as the location of the ancient Eleusinian mysteries and is located some 14 miles northwest of Athens and opposite the island of Salamis. During this field project, the participants will record the site's extensive architectural remains using terrestrial laser scanning and photogrammetry.
